The Pryor Connection

My Aunt Sharon and Uncle John escaped the heat in Clovis (read: 112 degrees to our paltry 89) by visiting San Francisco this weekend. Sharon is my mom's sister, and John was one of my mom's fellow grad students in the Anthropology Department at SUNY-Binghamton. They met at a Halloween party where Sharon and my Mom were dressed as nuns, i.e. the "Sisters MacQueen".

We had fun catching up and reminiscing about old times. They are avid readers of this blog, and recalled the "Dissertation of the Poligy People" in its original non-electronic format. I was happy to confirm that we have a solid readership in the Central Valley, and will return the favor by making them FAMOUS on this fabulous website.

MIA: my cousin Aaron, who is a drummer aspiring to turn his bedroom into a recording studio (who needs a bed, anyway?). He's 15 years old, but don't tell that to his MySpace readers. Hopefully he'll come out here soon. I want to see for myself whether he can pass for 17.
