The End

From now on, you'll have to get your daily dose of Janna over at projectjanna.com, my shiny new blog. I mean no offense to Blogger, but what you can do here is somewhat limited, and I want more creative control. I've been thinking about moving on for some time, and recent circumstances have sped up the process.

What circumstances, you ask? After seven mostly good years together, Sanjay and I have decided to amicably separate. Unfortunately, what falls outside "mostly good" has caught up with us, and we have made the difficult but mutual decision that we will be happier apart.

FAQs:

• We are both OK.
• We still have an excellent friendship.
• Sanjay got the car, but I got the cats. Clearly, I still have the upper hand in this relationship.
• We have a spreadsheet entitled "Possessions", but don't have a corresponding one called "Friends". There are no sides to be taken.
• We are both staying in the Bay Area.

As far as a flamboyant ending to a nice blogrun on Google's dime, I've got nothing. Brooke suggested that we end with a poll: "Who do you like better, Janna or Sanjay?". She was kidding, of course. We all know that a little gallows humor can take the edge off a sucky reality. Unfortunately, I didn't come up with a comparably good yet also appropriate farewell.
